To pray a Rakat, you should start by standing and facing the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca. Then, raise your hands to your ears and say "Allahu Akbar" to begin the prayer. Next, recite the opening chapter of the Quran, Al-Fatiha, followed by another chapter or verses from the Quran. Then, bow down into the ruku position, followed by standing back up and then prostrating in sujood. Finally, sit briefly and then repeat the sujood before ending the Rakat with the Taslim, by turning your head to the right and saying "As-salamu alaykum" and then to the left and saying it again. **

No, the Rakat in prayer are not repetitions. Rakat refers to the sequence of physical movements and recitations performed during each unit of prayer in Islam. Each Rakat consists of a specific combination of standing, bowing, prostrating, and sitting, along with recitations from the Quran. The number of Rakat varies depending on the time of day and the type of prayer being performed. Therefore, Rakat are not repetitions, but rather distinct units within the prayer ritual. **

To pray more than 4 Rakat, one can perform additional units of prayer known as Sunnah or Nafl prayers. These extra prayers can be done before or after the obligatory prayers throughout the day. For example, one can pray 2 Rakat Sunnah before and after the obligatory 4 Rakat Dhuhr prayer, making a total of 8 Rakat. It is important to note that these additional prayers are optional and not obligatory, but they are highly recommended for increasing one's connection with Allah and earning extra rewards. **
